Peace Songbook

Cranes, the Japanese symbol of happiness and longevity, are often folded as origami and given to friends and family. Traditionally, it was believed that if you folded 1,000 cranes ("senbazuru") your wish would come true. In modern times, the crane is a symbol of hope and healing during challenging periods.

"One Crane" suggests what could happen if only we all made a wish, and folded our cranes, for peace around the world.
