Val Leonart Smalkin is a singer, composer, musician, and ventriloquist! She writes, “A CMN member asked about ‘hero’ songs, and having just finished a presentation at a hero-themed ‘bring your child to work day,’ I thought I'd contribute ‘Who-Who-Who Are You?’ It began as a play on an owl's hoot (whoo-whoo), but morphed into a song about making decisions about who you want to be. I always have the children sing the chorus with me alternating between being owls and people. This song can lead to some great discussions!
