Robin Chen

While in high school, Robin founded a club called “For a Change,” which nurtured members’ community service ideas. Years later, as a mother of young children, she became intent on addressing policy shortcomings that persist in a context of children’s ineligibility to vote. With Professor John Wall, she co-founded the Children’s Voting Colloquium to enable collaborations among scholars and activists. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with her three children and husband. A few of her favorites are pomelos, the smell of black locust trees in bloom, the writings of political historian Jill Lepore, and following moon snail trails on the sand flats of Cape Cod Bay.
