Carole Stephens

Carole Stephens grew up in Massachusetts in a house with a preschool attached! She graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in musical theater, acting in shows in Chicago and New York City (even a stint on "All My Children"!) before going afloat as a cruise director in the Caribbean. Carole hosted a nightly TV before settling down to “mommy.” She created music classes to meet the needs of her two children, who are now twenty-somethings. As MACARONI SOUP, she has been providing musical entertainment and education for children since 1989. She presents concerts, professional development workshops and teaches Active Music and theater classes for children 1-12 years old. Carole’s 8 recordings have won Parents' Choice Gold, Mom's Choice Gold, Children's Music Web, NAPPA and I-Parenting Media awards.

As a member of CMN for over 15 years, Carole has co-chaired two national conferences, served on the Board of Directors for four years, and currently serves as the Midwest Rep, Keynote Committee chair and Fundraising Committee member.
